::Biographal::
Tülay and his twin Sevrïn were born from a young Amon named Iöris, and the two of them were raised in a group with six others. Because of the fact that they were born with satyr bodies AND purple eyes, they were treated with a mixture of admiration and teasing. Tülay took most of it, being abnormally short and scrawny for an Amon, and Sevrïn wasn't always there to protect him. As a result, Tülay fled to the safety and sanctuary of a nearby garden, finding it very easy to hide amongst the deep foliage.
The owner of the garden took pity on him, and decided that, if the youngster was going to hide on his property, he'd help out dammit. So, Tülay began to learn all there was to know about tending to plants, and soon visited the old Amon (Käyrne) even when he wasn't there to hide. The two grew very close, and Tülay was happy. Käyrne would often regale Tülay with stories about his adventures, and even taught him how to use a bow, which he said he learned from a brief stint at a Rogue Araphim trading post.
A few years later, Käyrne died and, to Tülay's confusion, left both the house and garden to him, as well as his old bow and quiver. In the small will that was found in the home, Käyrne said that, since his twin was already dead, he wanted to leave his last possessions to the boy he'd come to look upon as his son, were he able to have children. Touched, Tülay and Sevrïn accepted the home, and were able to leave their group.
While Sevrïn branched off into Engineering, Tülay stayed home and cultivated his new garden, growing flowers, fruits, and vegetables to sell in town. He finally located a buyer--Axïs--and the two of them struck up a partnership that easily evolved into a friendship. Axïs sold the fruits of Tülay's labor, and in return Tülay bought all his tools, seeds, fertilizer, and everything else at Axïs' store. Life was good.
One day, Axïs told Tülay that he and his brother Alöis were going on a journey to fulfill their destinies, and said that the trip would be long and dangerous. He said that Tülay and Sevrïn did not have to accompany them, but that he would be very appreciative of their support and company. After thinking long and hard about it, Sevrïn and Tülay decided to come along--for moral support and simply for the sake of friendship. Besides, everyone needs a little adventure in their lives, right? Although, none of them could've foreseen what the future would hold for them.

1. Gardening clothes. Mainly an apron, some hair-ribbons, and gloves. His job dictates that he is outside most of the day tending to his plants, so appropriate clothing is also required if he does not wish to get too dirty.
2. Journal of Sheet-Music. He likes to play the cello/violin, and also sings. He mostly writes the music itself, not the lyrics, so his book is full of pages with songs and ditties scribbled here and there.
3. Plants/Flowers. What's the point of having a garden if you cannot enjoy the fruits of your labor? There are vases full of flowers, or cuttings/sprouts that he has to tend to inside before they're strong enough to survive outdoors. | |
