Erimiel was the first-born child to Baeliel and Koriel, and they were overjoyed to have her. She was pale, with green eyes and light, blonde hair--the ideal Araphim child. Because of this, Erimiel was lavished with praise and attention, receiving anything she wanted without a moment's hesitation. She was the center of their world, and their pride only increased as wings with beautiful grey feathers grew in when she got older. They eventually had another daughter--Araelle--but Erimiel remained the favorite for a long while, much to the dismay and resentment of her little sister.

As a child, Erimiel was full of energy and curiosity, eager to learn and strong-willed. She was never too fond of her mother, preferring the company of her father instead. In perfect parallel, Araelle preferred their mother over their father, so a kind of shaky peace was kept in the household. As time wore on, Erimiel began to distrust her sister, who became increasingly hostile towards her, going so far as to twist Eri's words in order to get her into trouble. This, in turn with the increasingly malicious teasing at school by children who did not have her perfect coloring, caused her to start withdrawing from people altogether. Her time was soon spent either alone or with her father.

Because of their parents' positions in the Agonista, both girls were groomed to do the same, but while Araelle took to the idea, Erimiel did not. It was around this time that she started losing favor to her parents, to the glee of her little sister. However, Erimiel started not to care, focusing her attentions more and more on writing and books. Conveniently, it was also around this time that she started a strange relationship with a young Araphim named Zuikiel--a classmate at her school. One who did NOT tease her, and instead did her best to treat Erimiel with respect and kindness. Instead of shooing the other girl away, Erimiel felt strangely compelled to keep her around, and the two of them formed an oddly close bond, although Eri would never admit it even to herself.

Eventually, Erimiel's parents wanted to send their children off to become Agonistas, and to their dismay, Erimiel refused. She claimed that she wanted to be a writer--she did not desire a warrior's life. Her mother seemed the most opposed to this idea, but after much arguing, Erimiel was granted permission to do so, under the condition that she do so in her own home, so she did not "disgrace" her parents' good name. Her father, ever her supporter, granted her a small house on the outskirts of town that had once belonged to her grandparents, which she took gladly. She made a quiet life for herself, allowing Zuikiel to stay in the guest room whenever the other Araphim felt like it. They stayed like that for many, many years, until one night a young child showed up at their door. He was thin, malnourished, and cold, and he begged them for a place to stay, even if only for a night. He was red-haired, with brown eyes and white wings--obviously recently cast-out from his home. Shocked at the age and physical state of the small creature, the two of them gave him food, and allowed him to sleep in the stable. Originally only supposed to stay one night, the boy stayed a few more thanks to Erimiel's curiosity. She asked him for details about his life and how he came to be turned out from his home. While she'd grown up with the idea that those who were born with "the demon's" colors were thrown out of society, she had never seen its cruelty with her own eyes. Finding herself enraged, she began an article about what she'd seen, knowing full well what the implications of her writing could mean for herself. But, she told herself that she would rather be rogue and free to do as SHE pleased than to stay safe and warm in her gilded cage, having her life designed for her. So, she packed supplies, as did Zuikiel who unexpectedly decided to join her.

On the final day, Erimiel walked through the streets of their city, posting her article all over and by the end simply tossing copies in the street--anything to get her message spread. No newspaper would've published it in a million years, but this, she knew, would get some people to read it. Afterwards, she went to her home, cut off her hair, and headed towards the nearest Rogue outpost, Zuikiel at her side.

::Misc.::
Would the character like to have children? NO. She may occasionally have a moment of insanity and imagine herself with one, but overall, hell no. She does not care for children, and has great respect for those who can put up with them.
Would the character prefer an intense relationship or a light friendship? Light friendship. She knows she's not the most agreeable person in the world, and she'd rather keep people at a distance so she doesn't hurt them with her bluntness. She's also afraid of getting too close to anyone and opening herself up.
Name three things you would find this character's space:
1. Books. She is always reading--she prefers it to conversation most of the time, especially since too many people unnerves her. The day she does not have a book in her hands or nearby will be the day of the Apocalypse.
2. Blankets. She hates the cold, and likes to keep herself as warm as possible. She has several blankets near her space at all times to prevent herself from getting a chill.
3. A type-writer. She's a writer, and she has to get her work done somehow. She prefers not to hand-write things, for the reason of A) she hates her hand-writing, and B) she hates hand-cramps even more.
