Personality: Charming, sarcastic and flirtatious, Nikolai loves to be the center of attention. He knows how to get what he wants, and it is very rare for that not to be the norm. He has a bit of a temper, but he does his best not to let it get away from him--he is the leader after all, and he knows that he needs to always be the calm and level-headed one. He is a cocky son-of-a-bitch, but he's hot enough to get away with it. Well, so he likes to think.

Current Biography: He lives in a small apartment complex a few blocks away from the Hub, although it is hardly used, as he tends to practically live inside Torchwood. He has a little bunker carefully hidden away where he goes to sleep at night.
History: Nikolai grew up in Sweden with his aunt and uncle, as his parents never had time to care for him because they were higher up in the government. Or so he thought. They were both really part of U.N.I.T and had hidden Niko away in order to keep him safe. And when he was twelve and they were visiting, he snooped into one of their briefcases because mysterious sounds were emanating from it. It sounded low and gutteral and almost like speech. Having a knack and thirst for learning new languages, he was instantly drawn to the briefcase. Inside was some odd device that seemed to "speak" to him and, to his amazement, he thought that he could understand some of what it meant. But before he could glean anything more from the device, his parents found him. They scolded him harshly for sticking his nose into their affairs, but the damage was done. Now fully curious in those kinds of things, he continued to research anything odd he could find as he grew up, to the point where his parents finally sat him down and filled him in as much as they could about their jobs. Ecstatic, Nikolai begged to be a part of it and, when he was old enough, tried to join. He passed their tests with flying colors and over time was assigned the task of re-creating Torchwood Four, which had been destroyed in some way that U.N.I.T has refused to disclose. Not really caring and finally having the dream job he desired, Nikolai accepted his post and began to collect some members.
