Current Biography: Emily lives in an apartment around the area of the Big Wheel. She loves it because the bright lights illuminate her home at night and keeps the Boogeyman away. It's also really pretty to look at. She has a few friends outside of Torchwood, although she never hangs out with them as much as her team.
History: Emily had a nice, happy childhood. No big family tragedies, no mysterious murdered friends or anything. A downright boring, normal life. Her family wasn't exactly the richest there was, but they were fairly well off. She breezed through life with decent grades and started off into college with no real direction. One day, she had stayed behind to clean up the medical lab for extra credit when a strange creature came into the room, seemingly following the scent trail of the cadavers her class was dissecting. When it saw her, it instantly attacked, trying to kill her. Using her knowledge in anatomy, she easily took the thing down. Before she could inspect it further, a group of people burst in and, upon finding that she single-handedly took down a Weevil, decided to recruit her.
