History: Hertzchen is the eldest of three children to a civil lawyer and the owner of an art gallery. His powers start ed appearing when he was eleven, and proved to be increasingly dangerous. Just before his twelfth birthday he was expelled for vandalism, after the third computer blew while he was on it in a week. Shortly after, he was visited by the headmaster in his dream, and when he told his parents, they were happy to let him go so he would not end up hurting himself. He chose the squirrel that lived in the tree in their yard to be his familiar. His baby sister named him Shiny.
