History: Raised in Toronto, Simon had a peaceful life, a loving mother, and a hard working father. As he grew, he became more and more interested in literature, and began to study as hard as he possibly could so that he could enjoy the rest of his life as a scholar. His ability had been apparent to him since he was young, often manipulating the ash and smoke from in father's cigarettes, in lieu of having toys. He would enjoy making people out of the ash, watching them dance or perform. His parents never knew of his ability, and he kept it entirely secret. Although he had a rather normal life, he always felt a tad estranged from the rest of the world, trying hard to appear normal to people with small burn scars on his body, and brown hair changing to black of ash often. He applied for Momento Mori Academy after hearing about it through an old friend who had a similar story to himself. He has worked as Literature Professor to the Academy just shy of four years.
