Tülay was up long before the sun, but rather than go about his normal routine, he stayed where he was, listening to the sounds of the morning as everything began to wake up. The room slowly lost the dimness of twilight, going through a cycle of colors as the sun rose and spread its rays through the windows. The birds were chirping and singing, leaving their nests to begin the never-ending search for food (which no doubt included the ripening fruits in Tülay's garden). But even though that threat loomed over him and he knew he was missing the true glory of the morning, he stayed firmly put, resolute in his decision.
To distract himself, he pulled the blankets tighter around his body, and allowed himself to doze a bit. The next thing he knew, he felt a shifting in the bed next to him, and he opened his eyes to find himself looking straight into his lover's own. Sägan seemed somewhat perplexed, brows furrowing a little as he stared at Tülay, who was almost never still in bed with him this late in the day. Tülay understood his confusion, but for his part simply smiled and snuggled in closer, pressing a gentle kiss to Sägan's jaw.
"I thought we could be a bit lazy today," he said softly, burying his face into the other's neck. "Since it's your birthday and all."
Tülay felt Sägan's quiet exhale against his hair, and he knew that the Amon was smiling.
"A great gift indeed. Does it come with sex?"
Tülay snorted, and without missing a beat or even blushing furiously, replied:
"But of course."
