Momento Mori Academy Main Hall Information Board

Welcome!

Momento Mori Academy is open for boys the age of twelve years and over. Each of our students has been invited here based on a set list of "preliminaries", as we are a school dedicated to the refining, concealment, and the ability to work with one's own gift.

Each professor teaches a student based on the individual effort and understanding of the subject, not on the overall ability to outshine each other. Students are encouraged to work with their "abilities" in an environment where they are surrounded by others such as themselves.

This is established in an effort to remove the thinking that one is abnormal because of these traits, helping each individual accept himself as a whole. Self-acceptance is the first step in a year round class schedule that will bond them with those not only around them at Momento Mori Academy, but with those they will meet in the future as well.

Each student is required to have a vessel, working as a constant familiar, in which to keep their essence, to ensure that one mistake is not necessarily too many, but certainly enough.

The staff looks forward to the return of students, and the fresh faces. Welcome to Momento Mori Academy, we hope all students enjoy their time here, and that their memories of our Academy are beacons for them to do well in the future.

Here at the academy, a set list of rules is expected to be upheld by all students and staff. It is expected of everyone on the grounds to put in equal effort to keep Momento Mori Academy a safe and happy enviornment.

No Public Debate of Religion
As a set rule in Momento Mori, students are allowed to practice and celebrate their own religion. No students or staff are allowed to argue their own religion to others under any circumstances. As an off shoot of this rule, all staff are required to recognize all religious expression on the grounds. Failure to comply will result in expulsion / termination.

No Public Debate of Sexuality
At Momento Mori Academy, the staff works hard to provide a happy and safe environment for any member of our community, and recognize all people as equal. Staff and students are required to show respectful mannerisms to any student, regardless of sexuality or preferance. Failure to do so will result in expulsion / termination.

All Familiars Must be Vaccinated
In an effort to work towards a safe environment for our entire community, all animals must have up to date vaccinations. If a familiar is not entirely up to date in their medical records, Momento Mori has their own veterinarian who is certified to vaccinate and medicate.

No Drug Use on School Property
No illegal drug of any kind, other than for a medical condition, is allowed on the Academy grounds. This medication must be reported to the main office and distributed as instructed from the school nurse. A form must be completed and turned in for these medications. Any staff or student unwilling to abide by this rule will immediately be terminated / expelled.

No Graphic Puclic Displays of Affection
Students are allowed to display affections such as hand holding or verbal expressions, but any inappropriate gestures or phrases will result in detention.

No Profanity
No use of language that one may find offensive or vulgar, and any use of this language will result in a verbal warning followed by detention.

** Officially, the dorms have been downsized to 20 rooms a wing (5 rooms a floor)
